About Christopher Arroyo, D.O.

Dr. Christopher Arroyo is an Anesthesiologist in private practice on Long Island, Westchester County and Manhattan, New York. He is certified by the American Board of Anesthesiologist since April 1996. He is a member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists and New York State Society of Anesthesiologist (NYSSA). Dr. Arroyo is also an Officer in the New York State Society of Anesthesiologists.

Dr. Arroyo received his Bachelor of Science degree at Rutgers University in Biology in 1987. He then attended New York College of Osteopathic Medicine where he received his Osteopathic Medical Degree in 1991. Dr. Arroyo then did his internship at Brookdale Hospital Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York and his Anesthesia Residency at Montifiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine from July 1992 through June 1995, where he was also Chief Resident during his last year of Anesthesia training.

Dr. Arroyo was an Instructor and Assistant Professor in Anesthesiology at Albert Einstein College of Medicine while he was an attending anesthesiologist at Montefiore Medical Center from July 1995 through February 1998. Dr. Arroyo is currently an Attending Anesthesiologist at Northern Westchester Hospital in Mount Kisco, New York and Hudson Valley Medical Center in Cortlandt, New York.

Inessa Shlifer is a Physician Assistant specializing in the field of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. She is a graduate of Long Island University, Brooklyn Hospital Center, where she received both her Bachelor of Science Degree and Physician Assistant Degree in August 1995.

Ms. Schlifer has twelve years of experience in the field of Plastic Surgery and has been Dr. David Funt’s Physician Assistant for over ten years.

Ms. Schlifer is affiliated with South Nassau Communities Hospital, Long Island.
